COVID-19 / Golf Outing Update
As of today, with the state's Stay at Home Order being extended through at least the end of May and not knowing when companies will be allowed to reopen, we have made the tough, but necessary, decision to cancel this year's outing. We hope for better days that will bring the end of social distancing, allow people back to work, all businesses to reopen, and bring back some kind of new normalcy. If this happens sometime by the end of June or early July, we may try to organize a smaller LRF fundraising event at the Grand Geneva. It wouldn't be our typical JA, Angels in the Fairway Golf Outing, but it's something. It would still be an opportunity for us to hopefully raise some money to continue our fight, "... of conquering all blood cancers, funding research, and enriching the quality of life of those dealing with these diseases...".
We will continue to keep everyone updated as this situation is fluid and the circumstances keep changing daily. We will continue to monitor the guidelines put out by the CDC, along with all IL. and WI. state government recommendations. Please continue to check back for updates or feel free to call us. We can't thank everyone enough for all your continued support of JA and the LRF - we look forward to seeing you all soon!
Welcome to the Joey's Angels website. In 1996, our son Joey lost his battle with leukemia. Since then, Joey's Angels has been devoted to raising funds for research to cure this terrible disease. To date we have raised more than $2.5 million in net revenue with the help of our friends and loyal supporters.
