Angels In The Fairway

From 1997-2010, our primary fundraising event was the annual Angels In The Fairway, held at the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Each year, this event grew, exceeding the previous year in both funds raised and attendance consistently raising upwards of $125,000 and welcoming nearly 600 participants. From 2012-2015, and again in 2023, we joined forces with world famous Bob Chinn's Crab House in Wheeling, Illinois with its annual golf outing where Joey's Angels supporters continued to swing for a cure. Historically in our 28 years, over $3 million in net revenues has been raised by Joey's Angels in support of the Leukemia Research Foundation. We hope to see you at our next outing.

About Joey's Angels

When Joey passed away in August of 1996, we decided to form Joey's Angels in his memory to help raise money for the Leukemia Research Foundation (LRF). Since Joey was truly an Angel, the name was a natural, and with your help and support, hopefully a cure can be found for this dreaded disease which has robbed us, and so many others, of beloved family members and friends.

Who We Benefit

Since 1946, the Leukemia Research Foundation has raised more than $85 million in service to its Mission: Cure leukemia by funding innovative research and to support patients and families.
